Bragg, NC Must be a U.S citizen Security Clearance: TS-SCI Job Summary: The RMT Specialist provides expertise in DoD policies/regulations concerning off-DOD facility and lane training and builds the requisite rapport with local community, state, and federal agency leadership required to expeditiously coordinate and conduct realistic immersive training. The SOF RMT Specialist expedites training area coordination and reduces TDY costs and logistical burdens for operational units. Responsibilities: Maintain currency in all National and Defense level directives, guidance, instructions that require SOF to retain the ability to conduct operations against irregular forces in increasingly complex environments that require synchronization, coordination, and integration of multiple agencies to interface with civilian populations in support of their overall irregular warfare (IW), CT, Unconventional Warfare (UW), Foreign Internal Defense (FID), Counterinsurgency (COIN) and Stability Operations. Provide expertise in DoD policies/regulations concerning off-DOD facility and lane training Build rapport with local community, state, and federal agency leadership required to expeditiously coordinate and conduct realistic immersive IW training Develop RMT lanes for JNTC exercises Provide RMT packet development for supported programs and units with memorandums of agreement, land use agreements for SOF training off DoD installations During exercises, assist unit safety officers with coordination with local, county, state law enforcement and safety organizations to mitigate potential fratricide or negative press Requirements Experience and Education: Prior SOF (O4-O5/E7-E8/CW3-CW4) Mínimum 12 years of special operations experience Served in a SOF operational level HQs or SOF Joint Task Force within the past 5 years Minimum of 4 years’ experience in SOF tactical and operational level tactics, techniques, and procedures with an emphasis on unconventional warfare (UW), Advanced Force Operations (AFO), Operational Preparation of the Environment (OPE), and Force Protection (FP) Minimum of 4 years’ experience planning, coordinating, and executing joint training using non-DOD areas and facilities Minimum of 4 years’ experience in joint operations and tactical and operational-level SOF planning Minimum of 4 years’ experience with the Joint Training System (JTS) exercise and scenario design and exercise management Minimum of 4 years’ experience in oral and written communications
