Description JOB SUMMARY: Performs all Count duties in accordance with company policies, procedures and state gaming regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A review of this description has excluded the marginal functions of this job which are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. Assists in the removal of validators and/or coin drops to ensure that they are com-pleted accurately, efficiently and in compliance with the internal controls as estab-lished by Diamond’s Casino. Assists in the count process, including opening validator cans; verifying the curren-cy; balancing all currency prior to completion of count; weigh scale testing, weigh/count and the wrap/bagging to ensure they are completed accurately, effi-ciently and in compliance with the internal controls and the Gaming Control Board. Attests to the accuracy of the count by signing the slot drop summary sheet, all wrap documentation and all weigh scale testing tapes, conducted in compliance with the internal controls and the Gaming Control Board. Operates all Count machinery, while adhering to all departmental safety standards, and reports any unsafe areas that have been observed. Assists in the organization and cleaning of the Count room. Requirements QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educa-tion and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and cor-respondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of or-ganization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
