We are now seeking an organised and conscientious Soft Services Manager based at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Services HQ in Edinburgh to oversee the operational running of multiple soft service functions such as cleaning, catering and security.
With at least two years’ experience in soft facilities management and an IOSHH qualification, you will be enthusiastic, highly organised and possess strong stakeholder management skills. Most importantly you will be part of a culture where health and safety is a priority inline with Sodexo’s vision of creating a ‘zero harm’ mindset.
Leading from the front, you will manage an onsite team, a team of sub-contractors and porters. We are looking for someone that can positively engage, empower, influence and lead by example with credibility and passion.
You will have accountability for the following;
- Stakeholder management (including excellent client and customer collaboration)
- Health and safety (including risk assessments and allergen checks)
- Audits
- Staff training
Though this role will predominantly be Monday to Friday there is an expectation to be flexible to handle emergencies at the site when required.
