Description
Job Description Takes lead of the testing activities of the technicians in compliance to ISO 17025. Performs training of new technicians as well as training of technicians whenever there's an update in the test procedures. Monitors the testing deadlines/due dates as specified in the test request. Performs regular checking of test results provided by the technicians. Develops new test procedures, techniques and equipment whenever necessary. Ensures that the consumables required for testing are readily available for testing and properly monitored in terms of inventory level. Takes lead of correlation test/proficiency test activities. Maintains laboratory documents/records in compliance with ISO 17025 principles. Provides assistance to Laboratory Manager for ensuring, implementing and monitoring regular housekeeping of the laboratory. Ensures that the technicians' activities are in compliance with company's HSE policy. Ensures that the tests being done are performed in compliance with the company's Integrity principles. Performs factory staff training and audits whenever needed. Other tasks as maybe assigned. Qualifications Garment technology, Chemical Engineering or any chemistry-related degree. At least 3 years experiences in a testing lab, focusing on Physical Footwear testing Basic English skills. Basic computer skills. Communication skills
