QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a structured test environment a plus
  • Experience with assistive technologies a plus
  • Experience with braille a plus
  • Strong computer skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Knowledge of mobile applications on iOS and Android operating systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Good work ethic

  • Willingness to learn and try new things
Responsibilities

In this position you will follow test plans and instructions provided by the project manager or project lead and assist in identifying accessibility defects in the products under test. Test accessibility compliance and validate assistive technology compatibility, including:

  • JAWS Screen Reader
  • NVDA Screen Reader
  • VoiceOver and TalkBack on mobile devices
  • Screen Magnifiers
  • Dragon Naturally Speaking
  • Accessibility and Ease of Access settings for desktop and mobile operating systems
  • Test web sites and ecommerce systems
  • Test mobile applications and mobile web sites
  • Duplicate and characterize defects for the development teams
  • Assist the design team in the failure analysis of defects
  • Assist the project management team as required to accomplish the goals of the project

Assistive technology training will be provided to the successful candidate.
