The Role As an intern in Retail Banking Analytics team, you will be working with engineers building a model factory that enables data scientists build machine learning models on public cloud (GCP) to predict customer behaviours. The aim of this internship is to gain hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team, develop tooling and architecture that will be used by data scientists, and learning to balance engineering excellence with tight deadlines and the needs of stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Convert business requirements to high quality python code Collaborate with the team on designing elegant and maintainable architectures with senior engineers Deploy machine learning models on GCP Engineer new features using ibis Develop new machine learning pipelines How to succeed We hire smart people like you for your potential. To take on this challenging and rewarding opportunity, you’ll need: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Basic knowledge of Python programming. Knowledge of different software design patterns and when to use them Interest in Software and Machine Learning engineering. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
