Job Description Your tasks as SW Architect in general: ► Design Software Architecture ► Derive architectural drivers and refine quality goals, identify technical and project constraints, develop software requirements ► Define software architecture that fulfills the software requirements ► Make architectural decisions, document and communicate architecture ► Evaluate and verify architecture ► Support development team with expertise, overview (requirement development, detailed design, implementation, integration and software test) ► Support Project, Change and Configuration Management. ► Estimate cost of technical solution ► Identify & manage technical debt ► Support the definition, implementation and evaluation of business strategy (including, but not limited to re-use, 3rd party handling, license, make or buy decisions) ► Identify, analyze interdisciplinary (system, hardware, software) engineering problems on system level ► Support software development process improvement, and tailoring for project needs ► Create and improve guidelines (design principles, patterns, coding/modeling guideline) ► Influence or define software development methods and tools Your tasks as 1P RefCore SW Architect: ► Make 1P to Work! (Functional, presentable features, series readiness) ► Improve 1P features and toolchain Improve new features (see below) - Develop toolchain - Visualization - Deployment - Debug features - Diagnose ► Harmonize system development between development teams ► Build up demo/test vehicles Build in / fine tune new parking features in the car - Build up / adopt vehicle, define requirements (with sysint team) - Communicate to the developer teams, forward tasks, requests - Debug features / errors, fine tune the functionality - Execute measurements Prepare for demo - Prepare cars for demo (with the sysint team) - Prepare demo scenarios - Execute demos Teach / develop sysint team, collaborate with them What gives you further advantages: ► Experience specifically in ADAS-related software architecture ► Experience in System Integration, hands-on experience with measurement setups in test vehicles ► Experience in System Architecture ► Knowledge of safety-critical systems development ► Process-oriented mindset with focus on compliance and continuous improvement Qualifications ► Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) ► Several years of experience in software development within automotive or ADAS environment ► Strong experience in software architecture design or in system integration ► Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance ► Experience with requirement management and traceability concepts ► Knowledge of automotive standards and process compliance (e.g., ASPICE) ► Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ► Good communication skills and ability to support development teams Additional Information Get to know our #LikeABosch benefits.
