Are you a highly motivated Software Architect fluent in German? EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking a skilled Software Architect to join our dynamic team driving complex enterprise projects.


What You'll Do:


  • Responsibility for architecture decisions within the scope of the established and agreed software architecture for all services, in particular also taking into account the non-functional requirements such as performance, security and stability;
  • Advising the ITZBund and responsibility for the implementation, integration and test concept for the software architecture, in particular also as part of the implementation;
  • Definition of the requirements for external software products;
  • Communication and coordination of software architecture decisions with stakeholders in coordination with the ITZBund;
  • Coordination of the software architecture designs with the Client;
  • Advising the specialist department of the ITZBund as well as the design team on the detailing of technical requirements with regard to technical effort and complexity drivers;
  • Continuous improvement of the development architecture and processes;
  • Preparation and presentation of information and decision-making documents;
  • Organisation and assurance of the knowledge transfer to employees;

Requirements


  • Expert knowledge in the role of architect in enterprise - projects;
  • Expert knowledge in particular of Java, Spring and Spring Boot Framework;
  • Expert knowledge of service-oriented architectures;
  • Expert knowledge of microservice architectures;
  • Expert knowledge of service composition and the orchestration of processes;
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases;
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies such as Kubernetes and OpenShift, or equivalent cloud technologies;
  • In-depth knowledge in the field of container virtualisation such as Docker or equivalent technologies;
  • Expert knowledge of complex projects with many individual components and their configuration;
  • Expert knowledge of dependency management such as Maven, NPM or equivalent technologies;
  • Expert knowledge of working with version control systems such as Git;
  • Expert knowledge of Apache Tomcat;
  • Expert knowledge of distributed infrastructure components (incl. geo-redundancy);
  • At least 5 years of demonstrable practical experience;
  • Based in Germany;
  • Fluent command of oral and written German (level C2 required) and English at a sufficient level;
