Summary
We are looking for a “Software Architect for Electronic Warfare Ground Support (f/m/d)” for the “Ground Support Solutions” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “Ground Support Solutions” department is responsible for the design, implementation, integration and acceptance of ground support systems. These are software solutions that support customers in the programming and verification of their electronic warfare systems. The range of tasks includes the recording of requirements, the management of software development and the procurement of hardware through to the integration and acceptance of the systems.

Your Tasks

  • Drafting, design, implementation, testing and documentation of software systems (with C++)
  • Creating suitable specifications and software architectures, e.g. for the integration of existing systems in cloud environments
  • Defining complex requirements for the software architecture and using new technologies
  • Conception and operation of topics in the area of continuous integration and DevOps
  • Containerization and container orchestration (including with Kubernetes)
  • Creation of project documentation
  • Co-designing and ensuring compliance with development guidelines
  • Responsibility for sub-projects

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable courses of study with a focus on software development
  • Many years of practical experience as a software architect and in programming (especially C++)
  • Extensive experience of common database technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of agile development methodology, preferably experience as SCRUM Master or Product Owner
  • Knowledge of administration and software development based on Linux and Windows
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Very good knowledge of German
