YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture and cloud architecture.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong proficiency in current Java Enterprise technologies Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledgeable in available solutions suitable for cloud environments and applications, e.g. for monitoring, logging or CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud-native services such as serverless computing (Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture, API first approach and tools like ArchUnit appreciated.
• Proactivity and ability to perform duties without immediate supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of the staff and stakeholders.

YOUR ROLE

The IT Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, robust, and high-performing software and cloud architectures strategy for the Quoting and Pricing products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that technology solutions align with business goals, adopting best practices for cloud and software design. This is a key technical leadership role, requiring a deep understanding of software architecture, cloud platforms, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical strategies.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• In thearea of Architectural Design, you lead the design of scalable, reliable,and secure software solutions. You will also develop and maintain systemarchitecture diagrams while ensuring lean and efficient architecturaldocumentation. Additionally, ensure seamless integration across both cloudenvironments and on-premises systems.
• In CloudArchitecture, you build solutions using cloud services, particularly AWS,to optimize performance, scalability, and cost. Designing, implementing, andmanaging cloud-based infrastructures, including multi-cloud and hybrid cloudarchitectures, is also part of your work area. Furthermore, you lead themigration of on-premise systems to cloud environments, ensuring highavailability and fast response times.
• Aspart of Technical Leadership, you guide software development teams infollowing architectural best practices, maintaining high code quality, andeffectively utilizing cloud services. You ensure that the architecture alignswith DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery(CI/CD). Providing mentorship to development teams, helping them adopt modernarchitectural patterns like microservices, event-driven systems, andcontainerization, completes the picture.
• Interms of Collaboration, you work closely with product managers,stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure that business objectives arealigned with technical solutions. You will be able contribute of fostering aninspiring team environment with open communication and a collaborative culture.You will also be given the time and opportunity to keep up to date with newtechnologies, cloud platforms and architectural trends, promote innovativesolutions and propose these to the team.
