Required Clearance: Secret
Required Certifications: Must have Agile/SAFe, and other related developer certifications and or demonstrate equivalent experience. Experience working with Webform module in Drupal. Must have substantial experience with AI-assisted programming tools, including but not limited to GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or other AI tools approved by the Department of Labor (DOL).
Required Education: BA/BS and have ten (10) plus years (with a minimum of five years of experience in DRUPAL) of hands-on full stack experience as team lead/architect developing architectures and solutions using agile/SAFe methodologies preferably in federal space.

PingWind is seeking a Software Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Software Architect they are a key contributor to the software development process, responsible for designing and implementing the architecture of complex software systems.

Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • The Software Architect functions as a hands-on technical project manager and will have all the experience of Senior-level developer with experience in (Sr. Fullstack Drupal Lead + Arch + Infra + Dev UX, Middle, DB, DevSecOps)
  • Serves as a Senior Full-stack Drupal Lead.
  • Must have wider and deeper extensive level developing web systems on technologies such as DRUPAL, AWS, Azure and container-based deployments while fulfilling enterprise and integration considerations.
  • Leads the analysis, administration, design, development, and testing of applications.
  • Reviews and verifies implementation of web portal according to design best practices, performance and security.
  • Reviews and assists in planning and execution of data migration and data reporting activities.
  • Creates, implements, and oversees technical process modeling, data modeling, and user interface designs. D
  • Demonstrates experience designing, implementing, utilizing Webform Module in DRUPAL, integrating DRUPAL web content platform with federal systems (on-prem, cloud).
  • Demonstrates experience delivering web solutions that comply with all federal standards such as security, section 508.
  • Leads and or guides developers and other members to lead technical planning and requirements gathering phases including to estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect, deliver, administer, and support.
  • Ensures architecture and implementations are in compliance with product roadmap, and with DOL enterprise/ platform/solutions architecture.
  • Ensures to seek DOL OCIO technical guidance and approvals as well as provide recommendations for product roadmap, platform capability, and the DOL enterprise.
