SOFTWARE ASSET ANALYST

Salary: Up to $38/hr
Employment Type: 6-month contract to permanent
Clearance: Ability to obtain
Location: Arlington, TX (fully on-site)

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor s degree (highly preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in software asset management
  • Working knowledge of software tools like Ivanti, HEAT, Deltek, SCCM, or MECM
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with software compliance reporting, licensing, usage tracking, and entitlements
  • Ability to obtain a security clearanc

Responsibilities
  • Manage software contracts, renewals, and acquisitions
  • Track and assign Ivanti software entitlements
  • Conduct license and entitlement research
  • Analyze operational reports for trends, anomalies, and discrepancies
  • Lead data accuracy reviews and drive remediation efforts
  • Perform cost analysis, consolidate software, and manage co-terming
  • Coordinate lifecycle planning, version control, and end-of-support tracking
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive process improvements
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on application packaging
  • Engage stakeholders and clients in reviewing IT software asset services
