We are located on the internet at wtwco.com Overview The Software Asset Management Analyst is responsible for performing operational activities surrounding software asset management (SAM) processes within the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that all software assets are efficiently managed, compliant with legal and corporate standards, and optimized for cost-effectiveness and performance. This role requires a dynamic individual with a suitable background in software asset management, excellent analytical skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organisation.   The Role.   * Software Management Framework: Operationally support the defined framework and associated processes for all enterprise technology software to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the organization and aligns to the ISO 19770 (2017) best practice standard. * Financial Data Integration: Support improvements to SAM processes to integrate and align with the organisations financial operating models which supports efficient financial management of software assets. * Stakeholder Partnership: Form and maintain partnerships with all appropriate stakeholders, ensuring that SAM operational activities are performed appropriately. * Automation and Integration: Support the development of automated and integrated solutions across SAM operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. * SaaS Management: Operationally maintain various SaaS applications and the associated vendor portals. * Framework Alignment: Supporting and complying with operational alignment to appropriate organisational regulatory frameworks. Including but not limited to: Sarbanes Oxley, Financial Conduct Authority, DORA and GDPR Data Protection * Software Procurement: Support the pro-active procurement and renewal processes for software assets ensuring that trustworthy data is maintained. * Policy and Governance: Assist in the development and improvement of SAM policy and process documentation to ensure clarity and compliance across the management framework. * Risk Management: Operationally support the effective management of identified risks associated with software assets. * License Compliance & Optimisation: Perform proactive license compliance activities to enable strategic decision making and ongoing optimisation. * Unapproved Software Management: Support the mitigation of risks associated with unapproved software. * Compliance Audit: Proactively support internal and external audits to ensure activities are handled in line with the organisations audit framework. * Trustworthy Data: Maintain and proactively improve all elements of software entitlement and inventory data which underpins the software management framework
