Description
Process MyIT Shop software licensing requests and ensure correct assignment. Build, maintain, and document SAM processes. Oversee and authorise administrative PC rights for users. Review and assess application archives and package requests via the Software Approval Board. Analyse and report on software licensing data, ensuring adherence to KPIs and SLAs. Use SNOW toolset to manage software assets and generate reports for IT Operations, Procurement, and Security. Identify software deployment efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities. Evaluate software licence requests for reuse or new procurement. Support global process governance and improvement initiatives. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to assess licensing implications of changes. Manage software licences, warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts. Monitor and manage consumption of Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Respond to software vendor audits and licence validation requests. Maintain SAM tools including SNOW and Spider, and recommend system enhancements. Provide regular compliance and usage insights to stakeholders. Ensure effective use of SAM tools and automation for software information collection. Maintain relationships across business units to ensure software use is disclosed and controlled. Process documentation and governance in a global tech environment. Minimum 2 years' experience in an ITIL-based organisation within Software Asset Management. Skilled in identifying cost efficiencies through licence reuse and enterprise agreements. Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and process improvement. Experienced in writing and adapting policies and procedures. Proficient in ITAM toolsets such as SNOW Software, BMC Spider, and SaaS Cloud Portals. Knowledgeable in ITIL framework, virtualisation, and cloud infrastructure licensing. Familiar with asset lifecycle processes and technical support for procurement decisions. Fluent in English (C1 level).
