Description
Overview WiSC Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented Software Asset Manager and Senior Systems Engineer to oversee the acquisition, tracking, provisioning, and lifecycle management of enterprise software assets. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in software asset management, configuration management, and requirements tracking, as well as extensive experience leading distributed teams across technical and administrative domains. Responsibilities Lead software asset management activities across multiple sites, overseeing acquisition, license tracking, provisioning, and reporting functions. Interface with technical teams to validate software requirements and assess feasibility, compliance, and lifecycle readiness. Manage end-to-end software provisioning workflows using enterprise systems and tools, including databases and request platforms. Guide and mentor a team of asset and account managers supporting daily operations across complex network environments. Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure accurate tracking, deployment, and renewal of software products. Design and improve workflow tools to streamline provisioning and enhance customer experience. Maintain and manage configuration and data management libraries in accordance with quality assurance processes and documentation standards. Generate custom reports and metrics to support leadership oversight and decision-making. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. 6-10 years of experience in software asset management, systems engineering, or configuration/data management roles. Demonstrated leadership experience managing geographically distributed technical teams. Strong working knowledge of provisioning tools, configuration management systems, and license tracking workflows. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database applications, and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Remedy, Oracle-based tools). ITIL certification TS/SCI with POLY is required to start Desired Qualifications ITIL certification and experience with Capability Maturity Model (CMM). Prior experience developing and maintaining system documentation in compliance with ISO standards. Familiarity with enterprise tools such as PVCS, Clear DDTS, or Summit. Experience with large-scale software transitions, procurement processes, and lifecycle assessments.
