    Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Software Asset Project Coordinator to oversee the lifecycle management of software assets within our ICT environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement, deployment, maintenance, usage tracking, renewal, and decommissioning of software licenses, subscriptions, and entitlements. This role is vital to ensure compliance with governance, reporting obligations, and to support the organization’s software rationalization and digital transformation initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and update the centralized Software Asset Register.
  • Monitor and manage software licensing usage across desktop, server, and cloud environments.
  • Liaise with vendors and resellers regarding licensing terms, renewals, and audits.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Finance to ensure software entitlements are procured, renewed, and retired according to demand.
  • Reconcile entitlements against deployments to identify and address under- or over-licensing issues.
  • Provide reports and dashboards related to software utilization, risk exposure, and cost tracking.
  • Advise project and delivery teams on software licensing implications for new procurements or upgrades.
  • Conduct internal reviews to ensure compliance with license agreements.
  • Support responses to external software audits or license verifications.
  • Recommend improvements to software asset management processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, Intune, or Snow).
  • Assist in the rationalization of unused or duplicative software to reduce costs and streamline platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT Security, Cloud Services, and Application Owners to align licensing with technical and operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement, financial, and ICT asset management policies.
