Position Summary MAG Aerospace is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Automation Test Engineer, you will support the Wideband Control Integration Test Division at Tobyhanna Army Depot ensuring the reliability and functionality by identifying issues before the software reaches end-users. Effective testing by the Test Team improves end-user satisfaction by ensuring the software meets all warfighter needs. If you are interested in joining a team that is laser-focused on serving our customers with technical expertise, operational excellence, and flawless execution, then we encourage you to apply today! *This position is on-site* Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Ability to create programs, functions, and capabilities by writing code in a variety of computer languages Be able to self-task and make decisions while working in a fast-paced changing environment Support and enhance automation testing for various satellite systems for PdM Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (WESS) Requirements Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills 3+ of experience in coding and software pipelines in a professional environment (understanding of CI/CD methodology) Must have experience working with Terraform and/or Ansible Familiarity with python Must be able to work within a small team Must have the flexibility to work within a changing environment Education High School Diploma Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is a plus Experience working with virtual environments (VMWare, ProxMox, and Hyper-V) Experience working with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Experience working with sprints or in an agile environment is preferred Cloud Computing experience Other Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one Special Note The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements. Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $90k - $115k (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
