KNOWLEDGE

• Linux administration/configuration/monitoring
• Windows administration/configuration/monitoring
• Kubernetes administration/configuration/monitoring
• Azure monitoring/management

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Scripting – bash, Power Shell, etc.
• Helm administration and charts development
• Ability and interest to learn new technology/systems/services

• Deploys the service to production, including out-of-band releases
• Coordinates and oversees any required scheduled maintenance
• Monitors the service in production and responds to alerts and incidents
• Troubleshoots the service when necessary
• Troubleshoots issues with Azure and involves Microsoft to help resolve issues
• Monitors and services the Kubernetes infrastructure
• Monitors Azure Advisor for security and cost recommendations
• Executes secret rotation (including SSL certificates)
• Executes drills - failover, backup/recovery
• Creates and maintains documentation of standard operating procedures and policies
• Part of and assists with managing 24/7 on-call structure of the operations team
• Deliver professional solutions in connection with the products and appliances sold by the company
• Contact and collaborate with development if needed to solve issue
