Job Description
As Software Business Analyst for our YouGov Shopper Intelligence you will work closely with business contacts to ensure production and delivery of new processes and applications.
Requirements analysis involves frequent communication with users to determine specific feature expectations, resolution of conflict, or remove ambiguity in requirements in order to produce the most suitable outcome.

You will:

  • Uncover and understand stakeholder needs and translate them into requirements.
  • Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
  • Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical/developer community.
  • Define acceptance criteria for coordinate beta tests.
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
  • Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product.
  • Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
  • Provide input on integrating certain applications into the larger GfK Enterprise Architecture.
  • Analyze business processes to suggest solutions around them.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize items – balancing business strategy, user needs and product vision.
  • Lead and / or participate in projects that aim to improve the processes, performance and quality.
  • Understand and analyze data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management of information systems or equivalent.
  • Understand software development lifecycle.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset, yet able to conceptualize end-state solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of employees and management with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business users.
  • Ability to easily work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite is a plus (Jira, Confluence).
