Description
Octopus by RTG is hiring for a partner organization in KSA a Technical Business Analyst for a 1 year contract. We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst with experience working across internal core applications such as CMS (Content Management Systems), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and Data Projects. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that technology solutions meet business needs, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. Key Activities Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, define, and validate business requirements for enhancements, integrations, or new functionalities across multiple enterprise systems. Analyze current business processes, workflows, and system capabilities to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical teams. Solution Design Support: Work closely with Solution Architects, Developers, and QA teams to design solutions that align with business objectives while maintaining system integrity and scalability. Contribute to the evaluation and selection of enterprise applications or third-party vendors where necessary. Assist in prototyping, workflow simulations, and feasibility assessments to validate proposed solutions. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Act as a trusted advisor and key liaison between business units, IT teams, vendors, and third-party service providers. Provide regular project status updates, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and management. Facilitate workshops, demos, and walkthroughs to ensure alignment and understanding among technical and business teams. Required Skills Strong understanding of CMS, ERP systems, and enterprise data management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and system analysis. Experience with project management tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation). Typical Education and Work Experience required Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. 4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst working with CMS, ERP, and/or enterprise data systems. Knowledge of SQL, basic data modeling concepts, and reporting tools is advantageous. Previous experience in financial services, insurance, or regulated industries is highly desirable. Certifications such as CBAP, Agile BA, or similar are considered an advantage
