Position: Software Business Analyst
Are you a technically-minded analyst with a Computer Science background and a solid grasp of logistics, agriculture, transport, or supply chain operations? Qube is looking for a Software Business Analyst to join our Product Development team in Tauranga. This is a strategic opportunity for someone ready to step into a role that connects business needs with smart, scalable software solutions.
Location: Tauranga, New Zealand
Status: Full-time position working Monday to Friday

YOUR JOB DUTIES WOULD BE:

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify digital solutions
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable software requirements
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to gather insights
  • Develop user stories, process flows, and use cases
  • Documenting all relevant business and software processes to support transparency, traceability, centralised storage, and future reference
  • Collaborating with the QPNZ training department and Software Tester to develop effective training materials for end users
  • Work closely with developers and testers to ensure accurate implementation
  • Support Agile practices including sprint planning and UAT
  • Prioritise features and enhancements based on business value
  • Apply domain knowledge in port logistics, including stevedoring, marshalling, warehousing, and transport
  • Ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards
