Application Configuration Analyst (Workforce Management) Full time – Fixed term for 12 months circa $100k per annum plus super. At Optko, we’re about optimising organisations. The role: We are seeking an Applications Configuration Analyst to join our team, in Melbourne, working under a 50/50 Work from Home/Office Hybrid to deliver workforce and field services management solutions. You will be given product learning and have full access to Optko’s software and solution partners, including any training and onboarding you require. In this pivotal role, you’ll define, design, configure and deploy our workforce management software solutions as well as help define integrations and automations between the solutions we offer and the business and IT systems and applications used by our customers. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, our partners and our implementation leads to support the needs of our customers by translating their requirements into application configuration templates and data pipelines, along with providing project documentation. This role is key to ensuring a seamless, efficient, and managed transition of our customers to new workforce software platforms.
We are looking for someone who has: * Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Data Science. Information Systems, Software Engineering or Web Design or relevant industry experience. * Experience in configuring software solutions, ideally to an enterprise client base * Business Analyst activities preferably within the transport, aviation, utilities sector, or to a client base that has complex business rules. * Strong technical skills in software applications. * Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrable ability to build and maintain relationships with customer and industry partners. * Hands on experience with technologies such as SharePoint, Excel, MS Project etc.
It’s a bonus if you have: * Familiarity with Aviation, Maritime or Ground Transport workforce planning and scheduling applications. * Direct experience with workforce management and workforce planning solutions. * Experience carrying out business analyst activities for wide range of business needs. * Experience in the transformation of data to support reporting and analytics. * Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Contemporary knowledge of current trends in workforce technology and field service management and planning.
