Description

Create your best future and join Westpac as a Software Contract Manager.
This role focuses on facilitating and leading the renewal and execution of asset management based contracts, ensuring that operational, commercial, financial and risk based objectives are met for each contract. Work with key stakeholders to understand asset usage, licensing and other key requirements and ensure elements are factored into each contract execution or renewal, such that the contract is optimised and managed throughout its lifecycle. Work with the Procurement team to ensure IT controls are met for each contract and that proper commercial practice supports all software deployed within Westpac. Drive significant cost savings, reduce risk and deliver value based opportunities from our asset base, through optimising the assets under contract, driving removal of underused assets and working with operational teams to ensure currency and consumption disciplines. Provide a clear chain of ownership for each asset so that Chargeback of spend (through systems such as Apptio) is accurate and communicated.
Further, you are also required to oversee technology asset management, ensuring assets are properly licensed, tracked, and maintained in Flexera FNMS . Drive best-in-class practices across asset lifecycle management and contract optimisation. Ensure accurate data capture and escalate non-compliant software to service owners.
