REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess a current active TOP SECRET security clearance, and be able to obtain SCI status
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Degree requirement can be met with four years of hands on experience in a software engineer or similar full time position
  • Must be able to demonstrate subject matter expert level ability to design and develop software based capabilities - this is typically achieved after a minimum of 10 years of full time industry experience and a bachelors degree
  • Experience providing daily guidance and oversight to other engineers
  • Experience leading the design and architecture of new capabilities
  • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc)
  • Proficient in two or more of the the following programming languages - Python, GO, C/C++, JAVA, ASSEMBLY or RUST
  • Proficient in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman)
  • Proficient with container orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Comfortable and proficient in Linux-based development environments
  • Experience utilizing issue tracking software to organize a team with the assistance of Scrum Masters (Jira, Gitlab, etc)
  • Ability to collaborate as a team but execute independently
  • Comfortable in a high-trust, adaptable, team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current US TS/SCI security clearance
  • Experience with cyber operations security concepts or tradecraft
  • Experience communicating with customers and end-users

Responsibilities

ROLE

This role is to drive a SAFe Release Train focused on building a software-based system to support coordination and orchestration of cyber missions. You will have the support of a Chief Architect and a team of Tech Leads/SMEs. You will be responsible for making priority decisions, architecture plans, and ensuring the team is executing the plan. Expect to explore the technology space enough to understand the components. You will also be responsible for understanding the ins and outs of the product being built by the team. You will be expected to be the SME for customer or external demos/discussions.
Our team is building a development environment for our customer to ease the integration of advanced technical components of external vendors. As an architect, you will be ensuring the system design and architecture is sound and will fit together as a unified solution. You will need to have exposure to a lot of different technologies and enjoy exploring a breadth of topics. They will range from software, networking, and devops (e.g. Kubernetes, and cloud). Ideally, you will have experience delivering software solutions through devsecops best practices.
