Job Description • Negotiating with customer about project estimate and schedule. • Track project finances, timelines, deliverables. • Supervising and managing for project deployments. • Manage project service delivery activities involving direct and subcontract resources. • Project planning, estimating and performing code reviews. • Writes functional and design specifications. • Designs, implements software solutions, and troubleshooting. • Estimates project scope and adheres to established guidelines and metrics for quality data. • Facilitate procurement of equipment and material. • Subject matter expert regarding all aspects of project management in general and within NEC Telecom Software Philippines in particular. • Mentors software engineers and acts as Manager. • Keeps pace with related emerging technology and trends, and introduce new tools and techniques for software development. • Other duties as assigned. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required. • 10 years or more of software development experience. • C++, C, Java, Linux, Unix knowledge required. • JLPT Level 1 is required in case of English native speaker. • TOEIC score which is more than 750 is required in case of Japanese native speaker. • JLPT Level 1 and TOEIC score which is more than 750 in case of non-English and non-Japanese native language speakers are required. • Previous telecommunication/data communication project management experience. • Technical certifications are a plus. • Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, Powerpoint. • ** If you are an NEC group employee, you must inform your Manager prior to applying for this position.
