Job Title Software Designer IGT-Systems Job Description Software Designer IGT-Systems Join Philips Healthcare in Best as a Software Designer for the Imaging Chain Cluster, where you'll play a crucial role in designing, realizing, and testing systems for X-ray platforms in the field of cardiac and vascular medical diagnosis and intervention. Your responsibilities include implementing designs, determining sub-system interfaces, and ensuring proper documentation while staying abreast of technological developments. Be part of a dynamic team within the Image Guided Therapy Systems Business Unit, contributing to the innovation of product and process. Your role: As a Software Designer, you'll contribute to the innovation of X-ray systems, ensuring optimal lab performance and superior care with the Azurion platform. Work within the Imaging Chain Agile Release Train, focusing on controlling X-ray acquisition and simulating X-ray acquisition. Be part of a dedicated team within the Imaging Chain Cluster, working on the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge medical products. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the software quality and maintainability of products like the Azurion platform. Collaborate with people of various nationalities and backgrounds, locally and across the globe. This role offers opportunities for continuous improvement, lean thinking, and driving deliverables. You're the right fit if: Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent. Over 3 years of experience in technical software development, with a focus on C++ 11, C#, WPF, and working with legacy code on Windows and Linux. Experience in software modeling (UML, DSL, Dezyne/Cocotec) and programming hardware. Experience with TDD and BDD. Experience in AI assisted software development. Demonstrate a continuous improvement attitude, a "Can do" mindset and enjoy pair-programming. How we work together: We believe that we are better together than apart.
