As a Software Development Engineer Lead, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and deploying high-performing, scalable full-stack applications in a cloud environment. You will lead technical strategy, mentor a team of developers, and ensure best practices in architecture, coding, and DevOps. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business objectives, while implementing cloud-native applications on AWS. This is a hands-on leadership position where your technical expertise directly shapes project success and team growth. Accountabilities Define and execute the technical vision, strategy, and architecture for full-stack .NET and cloud-based solutions. Lead the design and implementation of scalable applications using .NET Core, C#, Angular, and JavaScript. Oversee PostgreSQL database solutions and apply best practices using design patterns and SOLID principles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with business goals, timelines, and quality standards. Mentor and support developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and hands-on problem solving. Ensure continuous integration and deployment practices are followed using GitHub, Bitbucket, and modern DevOps tools. Manage AWS cloud deployments, optimize performance, and troubleshoot production issues. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 9+ years of software development experience, including recent experience in a technical leadership role. 5+ years hands-on experience with .NET Core, C#, Angular, and JavaScript. Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, database design, and management. Proficiency in design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Repository) and SOLID principles. Experience with source control systems such as GitHub and Bitbucket. Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS, and familiarity with DevOps practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor teams. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
