Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable database solutions for complex engineering problems. Work collaboratively and cross functionally to build and support cloud and DevOps adoption. Able to rapidly develop prototypes to identify the best set of technologies and toolkits to use for new feature development. Coordinate and be able to resolve issues across the entire stack - hardware, software, application, and network. Review entire environment and execute initiatives to reduce failures, and improve overall performance. Requirements: 6+ years of hands-on experience in database technologies. 3+ year experience in SRE/Devops. Strong foundation of Linux administration. Experience with AWS and its programming APIs (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, containers/ECS/EKS, lambda etc.). Programming skills in Python, Shell, and datacenter/AWS automation. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins). Experience with configuration management (Ansible). Education and Experience: At least 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 1 year experience; or equivalent experience preferred. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies preferred.
