Responsibilities Lead integration, optimization, and troubleshooting of Wireless LAN kernel drivers for NGFW platforms. Design and enhance wireless and dataplane components to meet high‑performance and low‑latency requirements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive delivery of features, improvements, and system‑level enhancements. Own complex debugging, performance analysis, and root‑cause investigations across WLAN and networking subsystems. Prototype and evaluate new technologies, contributing to next‑gen NGFW capabilities and product innovation. Influence architectural decisions, performance strategies, and long‑term technical direction for wireless and dataplane systems. Requirements 6+ years of experience in C/C++ systems‑level development for embedded or networking platforms. Strong background in Wireless LAN technologies with hands‑on experience in Linux WLAN kernel drivers and 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards. Solid understanding of WLAN security mechanisms including WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, MAC filtering, and access‑control workflows. Good knowledge of L2/L3 networking fundamentals such as VLANs, ACLs, routing basics, and SNMP. Experience with dataplane/fast‑path technologies (DPDK, ODP, or similar) is a strong advantage. Strong grasp of OS internals, concurrency, memory management, and networking stack behavior. Proven ability to debug, optimize, and diagnose complex performance‑critical issues.
