Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU?
As a key member of our Development Team, you will be able demonstrate the following:
Essential Skills:
· 2+ years of commercial experience in web-based software development.
· Strong PHP skills (legacy PHP 5.6 & modern Laravel projects).
· Deep understanding of SOLID principles.
· Experience integrating REST, SOAP, XML & JSON APIs.
· Proficiency in Laravel Framework.
· Frontend knowledge – HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery & other libraries).
· Strong MySQL skills, including complex relational database queries.
· Version control using Git.
· Agile/Scrum experience, collaborating closely in cross-functional teams.
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable (Bonus) Skills:
· DevOps experience (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
· Node.js & TypeScript (we use multiple Node.js services in production).
· Familiarity with AWS (S3, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda).
· Experience working with Microservices & RESTful APIs.
· Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes (AWS EKS clusters).
· NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Maths (or 5+ years of equivalent commercial experience).
· Work with cutting-edge open-source technologies to develop innovative solutions.
· Collaborate with a supportive, cross-functional team in an Agile environment.
· Gain valuable experience in security frameworks like ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and financial regulations.
