Description
We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale distributed infrastructure for the cloud. You'll be part of a team of really smart, motivated, and diverse people, given the autonomy and support to build innovative solutions that drive the future of cloud computing. Your expertise will help us deliver compute capabilities to run any workload in the cloud, and contribute to the development of our comprehensive suite of integrated services, including applications as a service, platform as a service, and infrastructure as a service. As a Senior Software Engineer (IC3), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining components of our Clinical Consumer infrastructure. You will work with other senior engineers to implement scalable services, automate deployment processes, and support operational excellence in production environments. This is a hands-on role suited for engineers eager to grow in distributed systems. Responsibilities - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in languages such as Python, Go, or Java. - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and cross-team collaboration. - Assist in deploying and monitoring services using modern cloud-native tools. - Learn and apply best practices for building reliable and performant distributed systems. Minimum Qualifications - BS in Computer Science or a related technical field. - 3+ years of software development experience in backend or cloud environments. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Go, Java, or C++. - Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures. - Experience with CI/CD workflows and container-based deployments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Preferred Qualifications - MS in Computer Science or related field. - Interest in distributed systems, observability, and scalability challenges. - Willingness to learn from senior engineers and contribute to high-impact projects.
