APH offers customized services for Medicaid, Medicare, and the ACA/Marketplace lines of business.       POSITION PURPOSE     The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that directly support the mission and operational goals of the organization. As a key member of the technology team, this role collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders to create scalable, secure, and innovative tools that enhance patient outcomes, improve data integration, and strengthen care coordination across the population health ecosystem.  The ideal candidate brings deep full-stack development expertise, thrives in Agile environments, and has hands-on experience building applications in the healthcare space, particularly in systems involving complex data workflows, HIPAA compliance, and interoperability standards. The developer will play a critical role in supporting initiatives related to Population Outcome Management, Complex Respiratory Management, Enhanced Respiratory Care, Quality Enhancement Initiatives, and Remote Monitoring.      DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  Technical  * Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Flow, Lightning Components, and related Salesforce technologies. * Test, debug, and monitor the stability, security, and performance of applications across multiple environments. * Support the integration of Salesforce with other clinical and administrative systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow. * Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, workflows, and customizations to ensure sustainability and knowledge transfer. * Optimize system and application performance by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving performance bottlenecks. * Solve complex problems by validating assumptions, applying best practices, and continuously improving code quality through peer reviews and testing. Administrative  * Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and security settings to ensure compliance with data protection and HIPAA regulations. * Perform regular system maintenance including updates, patch management, and data backups. * Contribute to multiple large projects simultaneously, managing priorities and delivering results within tight timelines. * Track system performance metrics and recommend proactive solutions to prevent issues before they impactend users. Additional Duties and Responsibilities  * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical operations, care coordination, IT, compliance) to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. * Lead and execute user training sessions for new functionalities, enhancements, and features. * Ensure all solutions adhere to federal, state, and organizational data protection regulations. * Proactivelyidentifyopportunities to leverage Salesforce and related technologies to streamline workflows, improve patient engagement, and enhance overall organizational efficiency. * Participate in innovation discussions around remote monitoring, population health analytics, and clinical data integration.   SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS  * Three (3+) years of Salesforce development and administration experience. * Advanced proficiency with Apex, Visualforce, Flow, Lightning Components, and Salesforce integration frameworks. * Proven ability to work with large-scale data management and optimize system performance in enterprise environments. * Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative software development practices. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and quality. * Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Experience in healthcare, population health, or related industries strongly preferred. * Demonstrated ability to learn new technical concepts, tools, and practices quickly. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse workforce environment. * Strong commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and data integrity. * Ability to present oneself with a professional, supportive, and customer-focused demeanor when interacting with staff, leadership, and external stakeholders.   EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATION  * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related technical field required. * Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related technical field preferred. * Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II required;
