WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our IT team based at our Head Office in Liverpool, UK. This role will focus on developing systems that will meet the continuing needs of the Alfred H Knight Group of companies. You will provide 2nd and 3rd line support for all internal systems within the group that the development team has created. You will also be responsible for ensuring the resolution of crisis situations, resolving all issues to a satisfactory conclusion.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of Java, SQL, OO design, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, Vue.js (desirable)
• Expertise in current computer hardware and software packages.
• Degree in IT, Science or Maths.
• Good attention to detail.
• Team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
