Description

PGT Solutions is a Government prime contractor focused on the Healthcare IT segment and following a contract-driven business model. We are looking for a Software Architect/Developer to join our federal contract team. The successful candidate will think strategically, have strong software engineering and broad technical knowledge to architect a design that meets the business and user needs, and solution that modernizes and enhances benefit services. The candidate have experience with machine learning and natural language processing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, CIS, MIS, or a related technical field
· 8 years of experience in software engineering and development
· Experience in software architecture and design
· Experience as a technical lead
· Natural Language Processing
· Back-end development experience, including Node.JS and Python
· Front-end development experience, including React JS
· Proven track record of delivery in an agile SDLC
· Familiarity with US Web Design Standards, the Digital Services Playbook, and ICT Accessibility Standards (Section 508; WCAG 2.0 A, AA)
· Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

PREFERRED SKILLS:

· VA experience (VHA, VBA)
· Healthcare-related software development (a plus)

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

· Responsible for architecting and developing modernized benefit claims processing using data analytics and human-centered design (HCD) methodologies.
· Architect solutions utilizing machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) to integrate advanced analytics
· Develop architecture following a framework (TOGAF, DODAF)
· Familiarity with federal cyber and information standards - FIPS, FISMA, zero trust, NIST
· Develop (design, build, test) APIs for information sharing between systems/software applications
· Develop automated process(es) for claims establishment associated with hospitalization adjustments
· Oversee the development and implementation of back-end and front-end solutions using Node.JS, Python, and React JS
· Implement software development guidelines and best practices
· Contribute to and manage code repositories using Git/GitHub
· Develop an effective software branching strategy and utilize software configuration management best practices
· Design, implement and test RESTful APIs and scalable web architectures
· Develop data parsers for various formats, including ASCII, XML, and JSON
· Follow Agile methodologies and best practices
· Manage cloud infrastructure - Microsoft Azure
