About the Role
Job Summary
We are looking for a Software Developer with production support experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong development skills along with expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and troubleshooting production issues. You will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our production environment while contributing to the development of cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide production support for cloud-based applications, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Investigate and resolve incidents and performance issues, collaborating with development and operations teams.
Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
Automate deployments, build pipelines, and CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or similar systems.
Write and maintain scripts in Bash to automate routine operational tasks.
Develop and support backend applications using Node.js.
Monitor logs, metrics, and alerts to proactively identify and address issues.
Document troubleshooting guides and best practices for production support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
Experience with other scripting languages like Python.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of software development and production support experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Strong Node.js development skills, including API development and backend services.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD systems.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and logging tools.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in a production environment.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.63-$41.02 per hour
