This role is classified as Exempt and is a Professional III. The hiring range is $87,611.91 to $105,000.00.

SUMMARY OF JOB

The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining computer applications. This role encompasses coding, debugging, testing, and optimizing software to enhance functionality, security, and overall performance. The software developer will work closely with departments to craft innovative solutions that align with business objectives and user requirements, utilizing their proficiency in programming languages, system architecture, and software development practices.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • T-SQL - creating stored procedures, scalar and table valued functions, triggers, tables, indexes etc. on SQL Server
  • SQL - writing queries, and fixing existing queries
  • Developing applications – using C#, win forms and asp.net, ASMX, JSON, VB.net etc.
  • Reporting – SSRS, crystal reports, Power BI
  • Knowledge of accounting system and practices
  • Public sector housing experience
  • SSIS – creating editing packages.
  • OnBase – Developing workflows and system maintenance.
  • SharePoint – Developing Power Aps

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development and implementation.
  • 3-5 years working with MS SQL
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases and version controls.
  • Proven track record of contributing to large-scale software projects with complex architectures.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including C#, Java, C++, PHP, ASMX, and JSON.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, essential for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Experience in developing secure software systems following industry standards and best practices.Ability to analyze code for vulnerabilities and errors, offering strategic improvements
