ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a dedicated Software Developer/DevOps Engineer to join our international team. In that role you will be developing, maintaining and enhancing the CI workflow in a user-friendly Engineering Environment, including the cloud CI/CD pipelines used for Packet Core area.
We are looking for someone who applies expertise and technology to analyze and resolve problems. Someone who believes that effective troubleshooting leads to a stable environment while enhancing personal knowledge. We seek a person skilled in persuasion and influence to design and deliver scalable, future-proof automation solutions. Additionally, we value creativity and innovation, with a willingness to experiment with new technologies to optimize work processes.

THE SKILLS YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Systems or Network Technology.
  • Proficiency in Python development with good understanding in OOP concepts.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining large Linux deployment using automation.
  • Experience in Puppet, Ansible to manage large server farms.
  • Linux administration experience with good troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Good knowledge of Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins and CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Proficient with git and git workflows.
  • Experience in integrating and troubleshooting applications and virtualization platforms such as Kubernetes and VMware.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain automation framework/tools to support test infrastructure.
  • Design and develop automation and pipelines collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Work in a Linux environment, applying troubleshooting skills as needed.
  • Utilize experience with cloud-native infrastructure and DevOps practices to enhance processes.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in physical, virtual, and cloud-based systems and networks.
