Summary
We are looking for a “Software Developer for Automated Test Systems (f/m/d)” for the “Test Software” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The team, consisting of approx. 20 employees, designs, develops and integrates production and customer testers for radar, electronic warfare and avionics systems for vehicles, airplanes, helicopters and ships. The test systems typically consist of a 19” rack based on purchased components with project-specific plug-in units and an electrical, mechanical and thermal test adaptation to simulate the real application.
Our test systems are automated and based on test managers, for example TestStand, which integrate LabView and LabWindows applications, among others, or are programmed in C++. The resulting measurement data is systematically collected and processed for further analysis.

Your Tasks

  • Automation of test procedures
  • Implementation and integration of test applications
  • Implementation and integration of drivers to control the various stimuli and measuring devices of the respective test system
  • Supporting existing test systems, carrying out obsolescence analyses and troubleshooting test specimens
  • Documentation and configuration of the developed software
  • Independent processing of the work packages taken on
  • Technical contact person for questions relating to the test system software

Willingness for occasional business trips is required.

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, physics or comparable
  • Experience in the development of test systems with the NI toolchain, for example NI LabVIEW, NI Teststand advantageous
  • Experience with version management (GIT) advantageous
  • Knowledge of measurement technology (optical measurement systems, analog and digital measurement technology)
  • Enjoy teamwork and finding innovative solutions

Very good knowledge of German and English
