Your tasks

• Backend Development & Architecture: You develop and optimize high-performance, secure backend services, e.g. with Java (Spring Boot), according to customer requirements.
• API Development & Integration: You design and implement chatbot dialogue processes, business logic and RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth integration into existing system landscapes.
• Database design & optimization: You perform updates for software and databases at our customers' sites.
• Code Quality & Testing : You are responsible for software and performance testing as well as creating documentation to ensure code quality.
• Agile collaboration: You will work in an agile team together with our frontend developers and UI designers.

Your profile

• Technical background : You have a completed degree in computer science, a completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development, or a comparable qualification.
• Java expertise: You bring project experience (at least as a working student) in backend development.
• Database know-how: You have already worked with relational databases.
• Tool stack & version control: Ideally, you have experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD, and modern development and automation tools.
• Teamwork skills:  You value collaboration within a team, share your knowledge and enjoy working on joint solutions.
