Your responsibilities

include: - Designing and developing application components with architectural connections and contributing to design decisions for our msg.P&C Claims software (https://msg-insurance-suite.com/de/unsere-loesungen/msg-pc-claims/)

- Working with extensive databases and supporting your colleagues during release changes and deployment processes, using specific batch frameworks (on-premises, SaaS) and database connectivity frameworks, such as... B. Hibernate

- You are actively involved in the design, implementation, and operation of containerized applications (Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher) 

- In addition to ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of our systems, your responsibilities also include innovative projects in the AI ​​field.

Your qualifications

: - Completed studies in (business) informatics, mathematics, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification

- Extensive experience in software development with Java or another object-oriented language, ideally in the insurance sector (composite, portfolio/claims)

- Sound practical experience with JSF, Spring, Eclipse, XML/XSLT, Maven, JUnit, and/or Camunda, as well as in database tooling; knowledge of Rancher, Helm, Kubernetes, and containerization, as well as modern software architectures (microservices, cloud)

- A strong affinity for IT and a good understanding of complex relationships and processes; Enjoy working in a team and have good German and English skills
