Keypro, a Finnish multi-expert in geospatial solutions and network information software systems, is looking for passionate Software Developers to reinforce their expanding team of skilled tech professionals. In this role, you’ll be involved in in-house product development, enhancing Keypro’s products targeted to telecom and utility segments. Your diverse tasks will include building and maintaining intricate web-based software products, handling feature requests, and participating in task analysis, documentation, and automation. Also, you and your team will help improve the quality of the product, fix bugs, and address issues identified during testing. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate on creating new features or products and play a role in planning the product user interface. While most of your closest team members are in Joensuu and Kuopio, Finland, a few colleagues are also located in Helsinki, and there are fully remote peers too.
We are searching for a person with a few years of suitable development experience, whether with a full-stack or backend focus. Frontend development experience or interest is also valued - we welcome people with diverse skills. We expect you to take ownership of your work and contribute to all stages of product development. Your self-driven attitude and willingness to share knowledge are highly appreciated. Most importantly, you have a solid technical skillset, and you are looking forward to expanding your skills with a complex web-based product as part of a talented team.
In this permanent full-time role, you will be employed directly by Keypro. The start time in the role is according to agreement. We hope you are prepared to work onsite at one of our locations (Joensuu, Kuopio, or near the capital region) alongside a flexible hybrid model.

We hope you to have:
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant software development experience as a full stack or backend developer. You could also have gained frontend development experience
Solid programming skills with Python and JavaScript and respective frameworks/technologies (such as React and TypeScript). Proficiency in Django, Flask, or similar frameworks is considered an advantage
Proactive and self-driven working style coupled with good collaboration skills
Willingness to learn and actively contribute within a team, as well as the ability to work independently
Good spoken and written English language skills
We consider as an asset:
Experience or familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), location data, and/or related technologies such as OpenLayers, MapServer, GeoServer and PostGIS
Experience with AWS
