About The Role
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to join our Cloud Team in Espoo, Finland. You will be working in a combination of energy domain expertise and AWS cloud development competences within our team to develop and maintain our solution.
Hansen Technologies is implementing a cloud native, microservice-based Energy Data Management solution for the energy industry. Our solution plays a vital role in ensuring that energy meter data is precise and up to date so that accurate readings are reported to our customers. We are a critical link in making sure that grid operators and energy companies have the necessary information to manage energy infrastructure in Finland. It’s an exciting time to join our team as we push the envelope in Meter Data Management solutions for the energy industry!
About You

You are a highly enthusiastic individual with proven experience working with AWS for at least 2 years as well as:

  • Proficient in Python and C#
  • Experience in scripting/programming and automation.
  • Experience in cloud Ops, Monitoring and Logging
  • Is comfortable in a hybrid working environment of Microsoft and Linux
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • A team player; experience in working inside an Agile team with a DevOps focus
Responsibilities
  • Participate in service and software development activities, from design to development including reviews whenever needed.
  • Provide estimates on progress and technical quality for stakeholders and team members.
  • Be open-minded for new methods and tools to improve our way of working.
  • Set up environments programmatically (like AWS cloudformation).
  • Share cloud knowledge and support less experienced cloud engineers
