QUALIFICATIONS

• 7-8+ years of QA engineering experience, with a proven track record in Agile SDLC teams, ideally involving CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in the financial domain is a plus.
• Proficiency in Java programming, with a focus on Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), and design patterns, preferably within a CI/CD environment.
• Experience working with Java microservices and REST APIs, along with exposure to React front-end development.
• Technologies: Java, JavaScript, IntelliJ/Eclipse.
• CI/CD tools: Maven, Sonar, Git, TeamCity/Jenkins, Docker.
• Exposure to banking or finance environments is preferred.
• Testing tools: JUnit, WebdriverIO, Protractor, JMeter, or similar.
  The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. ABOUT THE ROLE

iCapital is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to contribute to the platform behind the Alternative Investment Marketplace. In this role, you will apply your practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and engineering best practices. As an SDET, you will collaborate closely with the Development and Testing teams. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient individual contributor who can understand, enhance, and implement existing automation test frameworks, while also working with engineers and product managers to support feature-based testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement robust automated test suites.
• Integrate automated test suites with existing build and deployment processes.
• Maintain automated tests to align with changes in system design and architecture.
• Integrate the automation framework with tools like JIRA.
• Create, manage, and utilize defect workflows in conjunction with automated test execution.
• Design and publish meaningful metrics to support the creation and execution of automated tests.
• Develop and implement performance testing suites.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, API, automation, performance, and load testing.
