SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - INTERMEDIATE - SHAREPOINT:

On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Intermediate - SharePoint for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - INTERMEDIATE - SHAREPOINT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves developing and maintaining SharePoint applications, focusing on accessibility and data migration. The role includes troubleshooting and enhancing existing SharePoint websites and applications to improve user experience and functionality.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - INTERMEDIATE - SHAREPOINT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure fundamentals, C#, .NET framework, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Experience in creating Accessible applications
  • Experience in data migration
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - INTERMEDIATE - SHAREPOINT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Public Sector Experience in OPS
  • Experience with middleware and gateways
  • Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices
  • Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
Responsibilities
  • Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications
  • Develop detailed programming specifications and write/generate code
  • Compile data-driven programs and conduct unit tests
  • Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during software operation
