REQUIREMENTS

• You have a relentless passion for learning, experimenting, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with new technologies.
• You bring a “can-do” mindset to every challenge and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a Quebec-based learning institution.
• Interest in the AI agent and large language model (LLM) space.
• Experience with chatbots, AI, or related technologies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Software Developer Intern – Growth to join our team full-time during the Fall 2025 semester. As part of the Growth Engineering team at Botpress, you’ll focus on solving real problems for our clients — primarily by building bots that deliver measurable value, but also by exploring creative, scrappy solutions that go beyond just writing code. You’ll work on high-impact projects, collaborate across functions, and help scale what works. If you’re proactive, resourceful, and excited about using technology (including occasional technical content) to make things happen in the fast-moving world of conversational AI, we’d love to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build Scalable Bot Solutions: Design, develop, and deploy intelligent, scalable bots that solve real-world problems for our clients.
• Contribute to Botpress Hub: Contribute high-quality integrations, workflows, and reusable bot components to the Botpress Hub.
• Create Developer-Centric Content: Produce impactful tutorials, technical blog posts, and code samples that help the community understand and apply Botpress’s features effectively.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the marketing team to spotlight new features, amplify community initiatives, and drive adoption through coordinated campaigns and content launches.
