JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Software Developer Intern to join our team. You will play a key role in strengthening the integration between our Vibrant Wellness customer portal and our CRM platform. Your focus will be on optimizing backend workflows, improving real-time data updates, and identifying new use cases that improve efficiency and performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong understanding of backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar).
  • Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of asynchronous processing, cron jobs, and event-driven architecture.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying issues and proposing solutions.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress) for frontend testing.
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, Git, and Docker.
    Interest in systems integration, process automation, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in enhancing the integration between the Vibrant wellness customer portal and the CRM.
  • Analyze and improve existing cron jobs and real-time CRM update mechanisms.
  • Identify and implement optimizations to reduce redundancy and increase robustness.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather requirements and propose solutions.
  • Investigate and document edge cases, bugs, and potential improvements in the current codebase.
  • Utilize charting libraries to create interactive data visualizations and custom dashboards
  • Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to internal documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
