We require a high performing developer who is keen to work in a truly top tier investment bank, in a fast paced and challenging envrionment.
The role is for an experience Java developer who will join a well established team who are performing a variety of platform upgrades and new builds.

The core experience required will be:

• Java Back End – multithreading

• Real-Time system experience - (in this case the team works on live trade and counterparty risk data).

• No-SQL databases

• Kafka

Someone with distributed platforms and technology experience would be extremely interesting, but not essential.
This is a fast paced team, who provide coverage to a vital and complex part of the banks front office support services, working on real time data systems and high volume trade data.
Technologists must be experienced enough to critically evaluate legacy infrastructure with a keen eye to finding where the team can optimise its systems and spot opportunities for enhancements.
