Job Purpose We are looking for a Software Developer – Java Spring Boot & Oracle PL/SQL who will be responsible for the developing and maintaining of REST APIs using the Spring Boot framework, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. The job holder will also work extensively with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL to manage database interactions, procedures, and performance tuning, contributing to the optimization of our systems. The role involves collaborating with teams to deliver scalable solutions while following best practices in software development. What you will do Develop and maintain REST APIs using Spring Boot framework Work extensively with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL for database interactions, procedures, and performance tuning Incident management and first-level day-to-day support to end-users Troubleshooting and performance tuning Familiarity with JSP Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver scalable solutions Follow best practices in coding, testing, and deployment What you bring Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Development or other related field 3+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and JSP Strong experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL Experience with Apache Tomcat server management Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience with Oracle APEX is nice to have Excellent command of Greek and English language What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Professional development and education Health and wellbeing programs Positive learning and growing environment #LI-VK1 Allianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
