JOB SUMMARY

The Software Developer will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of HealthDIS system and other software solutions. They will work closely with the Technology Lead and other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient software that meets client and business requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent certifications or experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years in software development, preferably in healthcare or enterprise applications.
  • Experience working with PHP, MySQL, and related frameworks (e.g., Laravel).
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with API development and integration.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and requirements.Innovative mindset with a passion for technology.

  • Remuneration: NGN 500,000 - 800,000
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write, test, and deploy clean, scalable, and efficient code using PHP and MySQL.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain modules within the HealthDIS software, including clinical, admin, finance, and logistics components.
  • Identify and fix bugs and system inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Technical Support Team to gather client requirements.
  • Customize software features to meet specific client needs while ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Provide support for software-related issues escalated from the Technical Support Officer.
  • Implement updates, patches, and version upgrades for deployed software.
  • Contribute to the migration of software components to newer technologies where applicable.
  • Ensure compatibility with client hardware and infrastructure, including solar, network, and battery systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and system processes.
  • Prepare and submit weekly development progress reports.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and milestones.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor and other software developers on feature design and implementation.
  • Assist in mentoring junior developers or interns where applicable.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software development.Propose and implement innovative features and improvements for HealthDIS.
