Leidos is seeking a Software Developer to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. Join one of our high performing teams responsible for building the next-generation enterprise APIs and modern responsive user interfaces, supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA) and their mission to meet the changing needs of the public, positively impacting at least 65 million American lives per month. We are a team of forward-looking professionals in need of a strong candidate with these key required skills: Strong experience with Java, Openshift/AWS, Agile Development, Angular, JavaScript, SpringBoot, Spring Batch and Web Services. FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)

• 4+ years with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information technology, management information systems or a related field.
• Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
• 4+ years of experience with developing and maintaining the high-performing java applications
• 4+ years using Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure and Web Services / Web API (SOAP, REST, OAuth2).

• Architect, design, code, and implement next-generation web application using software engineering best practices in the latest technologies
• Designing, developing and maintaining high-performing Java applications.
• Using software development best practices and coding standards (i.e. software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, Test Driven Development, static code analysis, peer/code review)
• Demonstrating ability to take part in data analysis, data manipulation, database design, programming, and implementation
• All other duties as assigned or directed.
